A strange IRC meme from the #29a days, made possible because nerds think broken semantics are funny. The phrase, originally made by a Markov chain bot with a penchant for good timing and bad grammar, was quickly adopted as a meme of the channel.

The quote is often mangled into different forms, e.g. "teh tiger am teh gone," "teh wireless am teh suck," etc., but usually features "am teh", often with additional broken grammar.
